GSL Code A Bracket Released Ft. coL.Killer & coL.Heart

June 12th, 2012

Today GOMtv released the bracket for their GSL Code A Tournament. While Code S has started this week, you’ll have to wait until the week of June 25th to watch Code A. The wait will be worth it though, considering both coL.Heart and coL.Killer will be participating.

Heart and Killer will have their work cut out for them. Heart will be taking on MVP_Lure, a strong Protoss player who has taken down players like Symbol and TAiLS in the past. Good thing Heart has very strong play versus Protoss. Killer, on the other hand, will be playing FXO_Tree, a Terran player. While Tree has had a hard time getting into the GSL, he is not to be underestimated. With some focused training, we at compLexity are positive that Killer can take down Tree.

Unfortunately GOMtv has not yet released which players are playing on which days, meaning we don’t have a firm date as to when Killer and Heart will be taking the field. As soon as we have the information, expect a post with more detailed coverage.

Academy says Farewell to Brobocop and Lagrangian

June 11th, 2012

Today the compLexity Academy is sad to announce that two of our players, Nick “Brobocop” Harvey and Ke “Lagragian” Li, will be leaving The Academy. Both Nick and Ke have decided to pursue interests outside of StarCraft. Nick will be using his new found free time to focus on his education while Ke has found a full time job. It is important to note that compLexity completely understands their decisions and wishes nothing but the best for them. We also want to thank both Nick and Ke for their time with The Academy.

While it is sad to see two of our players go, there is an up side to this. The compLexity Academy will be holding a tournament to find two players who can fill Nick and Ke’s spot on the roster. As of right now, we at The Academy are still working out all the details on the recruitment tournament. As soon as we have everything worked out, expect to see a post here on the compLexity site, as well as on TeamLiquid and Reddit.

June 9th, 2012

Today, our boys off against FnaticRC in the TPL! coL.DotA, who has won 3 of their last 4 matches in the Premier League look to take down a struggling, but always determined Fnatic team. The last time these two teams met was in Fnatics very own Dota2 Cup, in which the compLexity squad took down the home team on their way to a first place finish. However, it was only a best-of-one, and a true best-of-three will measure the two teams’ style against each other.
