While this is the first tournament in the Open Series, GamerUniversity and GoSuFireFlash have some big plans for down the road. After the initial eight tournaments in the Open Series, there will be an eight team tournament (comprised of the winners from the Open Series) featuring a $10,000 grand prize.

To watch the Open Series, tune in Saturday, June 2nd at 13:00 Eastern Standard Time. GoSuFireFlash will provide live commentary, along with Draskyl and TobiWan.

coL.Academy EroSennin in the Finals of the Alienware Arena Spring Invitational

May 28th, 2012

The compLexity Academy is very proud to announce that our own Protoss Sean “EroSennin” Gough will be playing in the finals of the Alienware Arena Spring Invitational Tournament. After plowing through KurisuDeSu, Rotting, Yendor, and ThisIsJimmy, EroSennin will now have to play SeleCT in the finals.

With $800 for first place on the line, you’re not going to want to miss the final match. Kicking off at 9:30pm CDT on June 6th, the best-of-five will be starting out on ESV Cloud Kingdom.

This is going to be a hard match for EroSennin considering SeleCT is a world class player who has made a full time commitment to StarCraft II. That said, we are confident in Sean’s play and expect to see some great matches.

To watch the finals tune in here at 9:30pm CDT on June 6th.

Today, coL.DotA competes in the GD Studios Arena. The GD Studio has invited four teams from around the world to participate. The other teams include mTw, Darer, and Keita Gaming. This should be an interesting showmatch considering coL.DotA2 hasn’t had a ton of European exposure. That said, we are still extremely confident with our squad and expect to see some great results.

All matches will be best-of-threes and commentated by James “2GD” Harding and SingSing. You can watch the matches here or below.
