Gamma Labs and Complexity Gaming Launch Partnership

Houston, Texas, May 8th, 2012

Today Gamma Labs, a division of Gamma Enterprises, LLC, a global leader in natural supplements, and Complexity Gaming, one of the world’s most prolific professional gaming organizations, have announced a strategic partnership targeting the growing world of professional gaming.

Gamma Labs’ revolutionary Pre-Training Formula (“PTF”) has become the “Official Energy Drink” of Complexity Gaming, and the parties will work together to perfect Gamma Lab’s upcoming formula specifically created for gamers.

Additionally, the parties are announcing “compLexity’s Gamma Gamers House” which will be a professional gamer training facility located in Houston, Texas. The large home, expected to open in June of 2012, will provide Complexity’s professional gamers with a 24/7 training option and will also be open to visiting professional gamers who require housing during North American tour visitations.

Gamma Labs established Gamma Gamers last year during the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launch. Since then, many of the top gamers and respected members of the gaming community have shown tremendous support. The Gamma Labs PTF is an all-natural energy formula that’s been scientifically formulated to increase energy and focus, combined with having positive health benefits. “The gamers are knowledgeable about the products they put into their body, just like professional athletes” said Clifford Morgan, Chief Executive Officer at Gamma Labs. “These players demand top performance physically and mentally, which is why our PreTraining Formula is the ideal product for them. Hand-eye coordination and extended periods of intense focus can be taxing both physically and mentally.

“We’re very excited to partner with Gamma Labs and to open our second professional gamer training facility with their assistance,” said Jason Bass, COO of Complexity. “The PTF mix will fuel our gamers while they offer global eSports fans a 24/7 live stream, free training videos and other exciting content.”

VIDEO: Post GSL RO24 Interview with GanZi

May 16th, 2012

Last night compLexity’s GanZi took on two time GSL champion and fan favorite SK_MC in the GSL Code A round of 24. This was a huge match considering that the winner moves on to a guaranteed spot in Code S, while the loser has to fight their way though the Up & Down matches.

While all the polls and predictions stated that MC would win, GanZi said otherwise. Showing his true skill, GanZi easily beat MC 2-0.

Shortly after his match, GanZi was interviewed by Jade from the Cyber Sports Network. Considering this is one of the only interviews GanZi does in English, you’re not going to want to miss it. After you’ve watched it, feel free to send a message to GanZi via Twitter wishing him luck as he gears up for this weekend’s MLG Spring Arena 2 in New York City.

compLexity StarCraft 2 Player Updates

May 15th, 2012

Today we have mixed news regarding our StarCraft 2 division.  We’re sad to announce that we are parting ways with Paulo “CatZ” Vizcarra and Andrew “drewbie” Moysey.  The two ex-ROOT players have been a part of compLexity for a year and will be greatly missed.  We encourage our fans to keep watching their respective streams and to support them in their future endeavors.

However, we are pleased to announce that Chad “Minigun” Jones and Brendon “Ryze” Walker have extended their contracts for another year.   We’re excited they will remain a part of the squad and will continue to represent compLexity fans.

“We’re sad to see Paulo and Drew go but we wish them the very best in the future,” said Jason Bass, COO of compLexity Gaming. “Not only are they good players, they are great people who we will miss having around. Unfortunately at this time we have divergent plans for the future. We wish them nothing but the best and thank them for their time in our gaming family.”

“My year with compLexity was a really good year. I got to meet a lot of new people and make a lot of new friends who are a part of the coL family,” said Paulo “CatZ” Vizcarra. “The opportunity to join and play under the name of such a big and prestigious team, was for both drewbie and myself an experience that we won’t forget and that we are very thankful for. Unfortunately at this point in time, we part ways with new plans and different goals in mind for the near future. Thank you for everything: Jason Lake, Jason Bass and every member of the compLexity family. And one last time, thank you SoundBlaster, Qpad, PNY and Origin! haha”

As always, thanks very much for your support.  We have some exciting SC2 related news coming this week so keep it locked here to the site!

coL.Academy ESEA Update

May 15th, 2012

It has been a busy past few weeks for the compLexity Academy in the ESEA. Last time we heard from them, our boys were able to defeat the team My Intent way back in April. Since then, The Academy has played several key matches versus Its GoSu eSports, Convergence Gaming, and Monomaniac Esports.

Starting off the season with a record of 1-1, The Academy was looking to make a big splash right away. Unfortuantly, after their win versus My Intent, they suffered loss at the hands of Its GoSu eSports. With a score of 1-3, The Academy was disappointed with their play. Vowing to do better in the next match, The Academy moved on to play Convergence Gaming. Unfortunately our boys never got to test their skill against them because they forfitted the match. After pocketing the free win, coL.Academy went on to play Monomaniac Esports, formally known as Visionary Gaming. It was a close match but ultimately The Academy fell in the Ace Match bringing their record to 2-3.

Tomorrow The Academy hopes to even up their record as they take on Team Legion. It should be a thrilling game considering how hungry our boys are for a win. Be sure to root for them when they take to the field tomorrow evening.
