coL.SC2 Welcomes Ryze

In yet another SC2 move for CompLexity Gaming, we would like to announce Brendon “Ryze” Walker as the newest addition to our CompLexity Starcraft II roster. Walker, a zerg player, from Ontario, Canada has a strong background in SC:Broodwars as a B/B+ 1v1 and A- 2v2 player on iCCup. Since transitioning to SC2 he has managed to stay ranked in the top 200 players list. Currently, he sits at #113 on Battle.net’s Top 200 list. Ryze has managed to place first in Craft and z33k Cups and has had impressive finishes in Hyper Crew tournaments over the past few months.

Stermy Announces The UGC

Alessandro “Stermy” Avallone, a gaming legend and former competitor in the Championship Gaming Series (San Fransisco Optx), has announced his latest gaming initiative, the Ultimate Gaming Championship. The UGC will be held at the Lignano Sabbiadoro at Getur Village and promises to feature five of the most popular games across multiple platforms. Gamers will compete for $30,000 in prizes.

Alessandro “Stermy” Avallone , the most famous Italian gamer in the world, is pleased to announce “Ultimate Gaming Championship”, the event that all the Italian gamers were waiting for a long time.
The Ultimate Gaming Championship will take place in Lignano Sabbiadoro at Getur Village, from 31st March to 3rd April 2011, and it will be the event that will mark the return of “professional gaming” in Italy.  

Alessandro “Stermy” Avallone, who has been in the limelight for several years as a “pro-gamer”, has decided to call upon his vast experience to deliver the event that Italian gamers truly deserve.

It will be a chance to see the best gamers in the world and, for those people not lucky enough to attend the event, there will be Live HD Streams, both in English and Italian, with the best commentators.

The Professional Tournaments will boast a $30,000 Prizepurse and on top of that there will be a Lan Party BYOC (Bring your own computer) with 1.000 places available.
Initially we are proud to announce official tournaments for the following games: QuakeLive, Starcraft 2 and Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare for PC, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 and Super StreetFighter 4 for Console. In the coming days we will announce more games and more tournaments!

Tonight, CompLexity TF2 wraps up the first week of ESEA-Invite action as they take on Apocalypse Gaming. In their first match of the season, coL.TF2 took down Apoplexy Industries with a 5-2 victory on cp_granary. Apocalypse Gaming, on the other hand, fell in their first match of the season to Team Dynamic TF2 by the score of 4-5. The match is set to begin at 11:30PM EST and will take place on cp_granary.

NESL with $35,000 LoL League

The National ESL has announced their first LoL league for North America. The league, which sports $35,000 in prizes, via numerous tournaments and competitions throughout the year.

What is ESL Major Series?

EMS is a league of the best teams from the entire World. All Partners of the ESL qualify top 5v5 teams from their regions to play against each other. As the North American Partner, National ESL will qualify a team(s) to face off against the best from the World including France, UK, Russia, Sweden and many more. Want to represent the USA or Canada and win some money?

Join our qualifiers to become our representative to the World.

What is National ESL Premier League?

National ESL Premier League is the best of the best from North America. The top 5v5 teams from North America will face in a weekly match similar to the NFL or NBA. One match per week will be the “Game of the Week” and will feature extra press and the focus of the LoL community. The league will feature invited teams from EMS Qualifier and also last chance tournament qualifiers.

What is Go4LoL Tournament Series?

National ESL’s Go4LoL will be the North American version of the current ESL EU Go4LoL series. We will run at least four tournaments or cups each month starting Sunday afternoon. Go4LoL is open to everyone, anyone can sign up and play in the North American Region. 5v5 Teams will earn points per weekly tournament (cup) for a spot in the Monthly Finals.

Tonight, the two players will face off in a CompLexity vs CompLexity showdown to determine who will represent the team in the Grand Finals. The matches are set to begin at 6PM tonight.

Tonight, coL.SC2 continues its run through the Thunderzark Invitational as the round of 8 begins and both Antimage and Stalife look to make their run for the championship. The matches are set to begin at 8PM EST tonight.

Tonight at 8:30pm EST marks the start of the ThunderZark Invitational that will feature coL.Antimage and coL.Stalife. The tournament will be hosted over the span of two weekends. Tonight’s matchups will last until approximately 11:30pm EST. The round of 16 will be played tonight, the round of 8 will be played on Friday, February 11, and the finals will be played on Saturday, February 12. coL.Antimage and ROOTdrewbie will be facing off as the first match for this tournament. The match will be casted at 10:00pm EST in the following stream:

Mattoid: “I Got Next”

Mattoid Entertainment, a small production and marketing firm from Los Angeles has announced that they will be releasing their second documentary, “I Got Next” by filmmaker Ian Cofino. “I Got Next” is a gaming documentary that follows four prominent gamers in the Street Fighter series around the country as they travel from event to event.
