Unfortunately Antimage has fallen to KawaiiRice in two bo3’s. In the first set KawaiiRice carried his momentum from the lower brackets and cruised to a 2-0 series win. In the second set, Antimage was able to take the first game on Metalopolis. On Lost Temple, KawaiiRice had a very strong bio army with great viking support for the colossi. In the deciding game 3, Antimage went for a double Gateway proxy on Xel’Naga Caverns. KawaiiRice scouted right when it was finishing and was able to bunker up and hold it off. Antimage still takes home $40. Good Game to both players.
Pre Game
Victor “Antimage” Poon has advanced to the finals of the Relinquish Playoffs. The prize poll is $150, with first place getting $50. The finals are set to start between 8:30 and 9:00PM EST tonight!
Antimage opened up the tournament with two quick wins in the bo1 rounds over Turtle and Spartan. In Round 3 he took on KawaiiRice and beat him 2-1. PiplupPKM, who was the 25th seed, was the last man preventing Antimage from the Upper Bracket Finals. He was able to win that bo3 in a quick 2-0 fashion.
In the Upper Bracket Finals he had to face vVvNGry. The series went the full 3 games, with Antimage coming out on top 2-1. The finals will be bo3 and if Antimage losses the first set, another bo3 will be played.
Replays will be available at the completion of the tournament.
