Happy Birthday Noxious!

December 17th, 2015

On behalf of the compLexity Gaming family, we’d like to wish our very own Kacem “Noxious” Khilaji a Happy Birthday as he turns 26 today.

Noxious is one of the more veteran Hearthstone streamers in the scene, giving entertainment to the masses since closed beta. The avid Blizzard fan made his name as a founding member of Managrind, the inventor of the Randuin Wrynn deck and the leader of the AMENO movement, earning him the fan favorite status. Opposed to other streamers, Noxious has always remained more of a “fun first” player, who isn’t necessarily aiming for the highest legend rank or a 12-0 streak in Arena. In his mind, a perfect day at the Inn is with an unconventional deck, catching people off guard, and triggering interesting board situations. All in all, it’s a joy ride for everyone.

Once again we’d like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Noxious!

Update on coL.cs

December 15th, 2015

We would like to update our fans on the recent forfeits from the coL.cs team. Two weeks ago we announced changes to our roster, and at this time we are still looking to finalize our competition squad. We remain focused on putting together the best possible team, even if that takes some time.

Unfortunately, that has left us shorthanded for recent matches. On Saturday we informed the GameShow GEC organizers that we would not be able to participate. However the message was not properly relayed, and the matches continued to be scheduled. Additionally, we are opting not to play tonight’s StarLadder match for the reasons above, and that the event conflicts with the upcoming MLG Minor event.

We are big fans of both events and it was only after great deliberation that we withdrew from the matches. We thank the event organizers for their understanding and we look forward to participating in future seasons of these competitions.

Thank you for your continued support of compLexity Gaming and coL.cs.

Happy Birthday Beef!

December 4th, 2015

The compLexity Family would like to wish Kyle “beef” Bautista a very Happy Birthday as he turns 27 years old today.

Beef has been with compLexity for over three years now as the General Manager (who just so happens to have the golden voice). He has been involved in competitive gaming since 2007, but it wasn’t until years later that he put his previous life on hold to pursue a career in eSports. In 2012, after a year of amateur casting and writing, he joined compLexity as a live broadcasting expert and journalist. Since then Kyle has experienced all aspects of live production and traveled the world, working dozens of events as a caster, host, or journalist. In addition to working as an eSports freelancer, Kyle is compLexity’s General manager, and is frequently found at team competitions.

Once again, we’d like to wish him a very Happy 27th Birthday.
