Since the ’09 gaming line launch in June of last year, EA Sports has reported that over 500 million online games have been played up until this week. Over 2.2 million online games are played on average each day which helped the EA Sports titles reach over 500 million, which is a 175% increase over last year. These numbers represent all of EA Sports’ titles from Football to Hockey to Soccer.
Online game play allows real-time competitions with fans from around the world who speak the global language of sports. EA SPORTS is committed to providing personal access to the emotion of sports by continuing to create immersive online features, compelling new downloadable content and daily real-time stats updates.
Gamers have spent more than 4 billion minutes playing EA Sports titles a day, which represents more than 35 years worth of games being played each day. Also, six seperate titles have reached more than 500,000 registered online users with Madden and FIFA leading the way with more than 2.4 million apiece.

On April 17th through April 19th, 32 teams competed in KODE5 Brazil for the chance to play at the KODE5 Global Finals. Among these 32 teams was Made in Brazil, a fan favored team coming into the event. During which, they showed why they were the favored team by dominating their way into the finals, where they played FireGamers for the plane tickets to Moscow. While it was a good match, MiBR did take home the win and will continue to the Global Finals.
