BURNING! Now Homeless

August 3rd, 2010

BURNING!’s Counter-Strike team has left the organization, which then closed down just days following the departure.

The team finished 7-8th at Arbalet Dallas and encountered many issues prior to the event. A Source close to hltv.org said after ESWC that the organization went south. The founder of BURNING!, who was the main financial support decided to call it quits.

The team has decided to stick together and hope to be picked up soon by a new organization.

PinG Parts with CS Team

August 3rd, 2010

In a surprising move, the CS division of PinG have announced that they will be leaving the Ukrainian organization due to lack of payment regarding player salaries.

PinG were originally unable to attend ESWC last month due to lack of funds, however thanks to Bogdan “penguin” Marchenko (and his parents), the team managed to attend. It has been reported that the team has gone without the proper payments for months now, making this decision an easy one for the CS team.

This leaves the following players without a home:

Kiril “ANGE1” Karasiow
Juriy “strike” Tereshenko
Alexey “xaoc” Kucherov
Taras “craft1k” Voitenko
Emil “Kucher” Akhundov

The team appears to be sticking together as they will be participating in the WCG Ukrainian qualifier as well as the qualifier for ASUS Summer.

cyx Killed in Car Accident

July 29th, 2010

Antonio “cyx” Daniloski was one of the mousesports players who reportedly missed their flight to Shanghai for the Intel Extreme Masters tournament. On the drive back from the airport, Daniloski had a tire failure, resulting in an accident that claimed his life.

Taken from Mousesports.com:

Today we must say goodbye to our beloved friend and player, Antonio “cyx” Daniloski. Toni had a car accident on his way back from Frankfurt airport and passed away of the consequences.

Starting point was a missed flight from Frankfurt to Shanghai (China), which our entire Counter-Strike 1.6 team was suspected to take. Unfortunately, Antonio “cyx” Daniloski missed the flight and received another flight on Thursday morning.

On his way back from the airport, he had a car accident due to a tire failure and passed away of the consequences.

Our thoughts at this difficult time for us go to Tonis family, relatives and friends. We mourn a friend and player who was always loved by everyone in our mousesports team and the whole gaming community and because of his commitment and engagement he was one of the most important and famous personalities of all time in mousesports.

Our Counter-Strike 1.6 team is already on their way back to Germany and we’ve canceled our presence and Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge Shanghai.

At Arbalet Dallas two weeks ago, we were fortunate enough to sit down with Antonio for a quick interview. The footage of this can be found below:

We at CompLexity Gaming would like to give our condoleneces to Antonio’s family in their time of need. He will be greatly missed.
